College Access & Success Consultant
The College Access & Success Consultant will provide high quality workshops, advising support, and planning to high school students in the Youth Leader program and recent graduates in the College Success Cohort. The Consultant will support our staff in identifying our youths’ specific education and career pathways, and create targeted goals that ensure specific identified next steps. Asynchronously, they will compile resources to include in a monthly newsletter based on youths’ identified needs of support and upcoming deadlines. This role would include the planning and implementation of 4–6 workshops and bi-weekly check-ins with high school seniors (5-7) and minimum monthly check-ins in the College Success Cohort.

Youth Development Specialist - Workforce Development
Sociedad Latina is seeking a dynamic Youth Development Specialist who has experience working with middle and high school youth of color in urban settings to coordinate our Workforce Development programming. Our Workforce Development Pathways provides middle and high school youth of all races and different ethnic backgrounds the opportunity to gain work readiness skills, hands on experience in different fields through external opportunities; internships, job shadowing, career panels, college visits and workforce tours. Youth are placed in school-year and summer internships onsite at Sociedad Latina and with employer partners in the healthcare, law/public service, arts, STEM, environmental justice and business/entrepreneurship sectors.

Youth Development Specialist - College Access and Success
Sociedad Latina is seeking a dynamic Youth Development Specialist who has experience working with high school and undergraduate youth of color in urban settings to coordinate our College Access and Success programming. Our College Access program provides our high school Youth Leaders academic support and tutoring to ensure on-time grade promotion and earn their high school diploma or equivalent. Our College Success program also provides college and career support to high school youth transitioning from high school into their post-secondary education or career of interest. Youth Leader alumni will receive college and career mentoring for one-year post high school.
